Compressor Fault Checks

If ride height does not change despite prolonged compressor operation, or the compressor overheats, inspect the compressor and system before repair. These signs do not establish the failed component by themselves.

When to Inspect the Air Suspension

• The vehicle rises slowly after starting.
• The compressor runs too often.
• Air suspension faults appear.
• The vehicle sags after parking.
• The compressor overheats or is noisy.
• Pressure builds slowly.

Diagnose the affected compressor and complete air suspension system before repair.

Repair Limits and External Leaks

Check for leaks in the air springs, pipes, reservoir and valve block. Repairing the compressor component will not fix an external system leak that causes frequent compressor starts.

Important Before Ordering

Compare the original part number, marking, shape and mounting design before ordering. A model name alone does not confirm the required version.
