What This Kit Does

The PCV diaphragm is part of the crankcase ventilation system integrated into the valve cover. A failed diaphragm can affect crankcase vacuum and sealing, leading to intake air leaks, unstable idle and increased oil consumption. This repair kit is intended to restore the diaphragm and sealing function where the surrounding valve cover, oil-separator housing and breather hoses remain serviceable.
