- engine breather membrane repair component
What This Part Does
The PCV diaphragm regulates crankcase pressure and controls the flow of blow-by gases through the valve cover ventilation system. When the membrane tears, hardens or loses elasticity, the engine can draw unmetered air through the damaged diaphragm and lose correct pressure control.
Replacing the failed diaphragm helps restore crankcase ventilation function while keeping the existing BMW N43 valve cover in service.
