Cover and Diaphragm Selection

Quantity: three pieces. Original part references listed for selection: 1858445, 1790011, 1780384, 1762388, 1750047, 1738747, 1717679, BK2Q 6K271-AK, LR043158, LR058093 and 70260190. Compare the original cover and diaphragm design.

When to Inspect the Cover and Ventilation

• Oil leakage or seepage around the valve cover.
• Burning oil smell after the engine warms up.
• Air leaks through the cover or crankcase ventilation system.
• Unstable idle.
• Increased oil consumption.
• Whistling, excessive vacuum or mixture faults associated with leakage.

Diagnose the cover and crankcase ventilation system to establish the affected component before replacing the diaphragm.

Repair Scope

This is the diaphragm repair component, rather than a complete valve cover. Inspect the cover or oil separator housing, ventilation hoses and possible cracks. Diaphragm replacement may be suitable if the housing is intact; housing damage can require a different repair.

Important Before Ordering

Compare the original part number, marking, shape and mounting design before ordering. A model name alone does not confirm the required version.
