In our repair kits store, you can separately purchase a valve cover membrane for CITROEN 1.6 HDI /1.6D at an inexpensive price. We sell absolutely identical membranes with those that come in the original, since the manufacturer does not supply it to the market separately, but recommends completely changing the valve cover. Owners of CITROEN 1.6 HDI / 1.6D such repairs are irrational due to the fact that it is too expensive.

Replacement of the membrane is required when it has already worn out (becomes rigid, cracks, loses its elasticity) or breaks altogether. This usually happens when the car has a sufficiently large mileage (about 100 thousand km). The owner can understand this if the car starts badly, there are interruptions during ignition, unnatural sounds are heard that have not been observed before.

By purchasing a valve cover membrane from us, the owner can easily replace it with his own hands. To do this, remove the valve cover itself (the membrane is located inside it), carefully open it so as not to lose the pressure spring, replace the membrane and everything is ready.

Tip: before opening the lid, warm it clockwise (you can use a construction hair dryer).
