The vacuum pump check valve on BMW N63 and N63TU 4.4L V8 twin-turbo engines maintains vacuum in the brake servo circuit after the engine stops. A failed check valve allows vacuum bleed-back — causing a soft brake pedal on the first application after engine start. This repair kit replaces the check valve and all associated seals.
