The shaft, flap, lever and bushing operate the turbocharger wastegate on the listed Mercedes-Benz applications. The wastegate controls the bypass flap as part of boost regulation. Wear in these mechanical elements can cause play, metallic rattling, sticking and unstable boost control.

• Play in the bypass flap shaft or lever.
• Metallic rattling near the turbocharger.
• Sticking wastegate movement.
