The throttle valve actuator diaphragm on Peugeot, Citroen, Ford, and Volvo 2.0D/HDi/TDCi diesel engines controls the swirl flap or EGR throttle valve via vacuum. When the diaphragm fails, the valve stops responding correctly — causing intake fault codes, EGR faults, and rough idle. This replacement membrane fits both left and right sides of the throttle body.
