Steering Rack Bushing (Repair Kit) for Honda Accord 9 3.5L / Acura TLX 3.5L
An effective solution to eliminate knocking in the electric steering rack on the passenger side without the need for complete disassembly or removal of the rack. Significantly reduces repair costs.

Installation Instructions:

Remove the right wheel and clamps, then remove the steering rack boot. Unscrew the tie rod from the rack and remove the damper.

Turn the steering wheel fully to the right.

Heat the factory nut housing with a heat gun from a distance of 10–15 cm using circular motions (do not direct the heat at the shaft!).

Install the removal tool and use a 19 mm socket to unscrew the factory nut.

Clean the thread from sealant. Lightly sand the shaft chamfer with P1000 sandpaper.

Test-fit the bushing. If necessary, adjust the inner diameter with P2000 sandpaper so that it fits snugly onto the shaft with slight effort.

Apply a drop of sealant to the thread and screw in the new bushing. Lubricate the shaft and the inside of the bushing.

Reinstall and secure the tie rod. Tighten it.

Reattach the boot and reinstall the wheel.
