The BMW PCV membrane located inside the valve cover, after a certain mileage, turns to stone, cracks or even breaks. Due to wear, the unbalanced operation of the engine is instantly detected. This can be understood by interruptions in the ignition and intermittent idling. The preliminary cause of this may be engine compartment oil stains – this indicates a decrease or loss of elasticity of the membrane, the manifestation of cracks.
Of course, there is only one way out – to change the original component. But, the developer did not provide for the separate sale of membranes. European developers deliberately use such commercial maneuvers, this forces them to make a comprehensive replacement of the ventilation valve, the cost of which is too high for frequent rotation. That is why our company has formed a piece-by-piece sale of membranes to the valve cover of the PCV.
The presented membranes are suitable for BMW with N45, N45N engines and cylinder head covers 11127526665, 11127568579. The new membrane has exactly the same dimensions as in the original membrane, made of a soft flexible oil- and gasoline-resistant material with an elastic base, which guarantees a long service life.
After the replacement has occurred, a certain period of time will be needed during the launch to settle the fuel cards.
