The membranes are made of oil- and gasoline-resistant material.
In the valve itself, the membrane fails, which is destroyed due to high temperatures and aging of the material, as a result, the motor begins to work unevenly at idle, traction from the bottom disappears, increased oil consumption is possible, engine smoke, deviations of summing correction during diagnosis, whistling from the rear of the intake manifold.

To replace the membrane, you need to remove the PCV from the motor, most often the PCV mounting screws break off, so you have to remove the intake manifold entirely.
When replacing, it is desirable and necessary to replace:

• Gasket under the throttle
• The gasket under the KRKG
• Intake Manifold Gaskets
• Nozzle rings (16 pcs) can also be rinsed and the nozzles can be diagnosed
• Sealing rings of the crankcase gas ventilation system.

It will also be necessary to flush the PCV and the collector itself and the throttle valve from oil and soot.
After the repair, it is desirable to reset the corrections on the motor.
