Porsche Cayenne 4.5L V8 PCV Diaphragm, 82 mm - 94810513207

The rubber diaphragm in the Porsche Cayenne crankcase ventilation valve can harden, crack and tear with age and oil exposure. This separate 82 mm membrane is for the listed 4.5L V8 valve cover application, with engine designations M48.50 and M48.00.

Vehicle Applications

• Porsche Cayenne 4.5L V8 - 2003-2010; M48.00/50.

When to Inspect Crankcase Ventilation

• Whistling or excessive crankcase vacuum.
• Unstable idle.
• Increased oil consumption.
• Oil deposits in the intake.
• Exhaust smoke after warm-up.
• Mixture faults related to unmetered air.

Inspect the ventilation valve and housing to identify the cause before replacing the diaphragm.

Additional Signs to Investigate

Oil leakage, reduced acceleration and a whistling sound near the oil separator are also reasons to check the membrane and crankcase pressure. Confirm the membrane is damaged rather than treating these signs as a diagnosis.

Separate Membrane Replacement

The diaphragm is integrated into the original cover assembly. This replacement membrane allows that component to be serviced separately when the cover and housing are otherwise sound.

Important Before Ordering

Compare the installed assembly reference, membrane design and dimensions before ordering. Check the housing and ventilation hoses for damage; a membrane alone may not resolve a cracked housing.
