This spring retaining clip secures a turbo boost hose in the quick-connect coupling at the intercooler, throttle body or another section of the boost circuit. The source lists selected BMW applications, Mercedes-Benz Sprinter W906 and Chevrolet Orlando 2.0 Diesel. A deformed, loose or missing clip can allow the hose to move or disconnect under boost pressure.
