This retaining clip secures the boost hose in the quick-connect coupling at the intercooler, EGR valve or throttle body on the listed BMW M57N2 applications. A bent, damaged or missing clip can allow the hose to move or disconnect, causing an air leak and loss of boost pressure.
When to Inspect the Part
- Loose hose in the quick-connect coupling
- Bent, damaged or missing retaining clip
