A common problem is a torn diaphragm of the vacuum valve of the intake manifold geometry regulator. In case of a damaged membrane, the VAG dealer offers to replace the intake manifold assembly, which costs about $300, plus labor to replace the manifold.

We offer a more reasonable solution - replace only the torn membrane with a new one. The vacuum valve membrane is made of silicone.
