Metal Gear Repair Kit 3pcs for Electronic Parking Brake - Hyundai / Kia - 597002W800

These three metal gears transfer rotation from the RS-555VD-6513 motor to the parking brake tightening and release mechanism in the listed Hyundai and Kia actuator applications. Worn or broken teeth can cause clicking, slipping, failure to engage or release and an EPB warning. The kit repairs the gears without replacing a serviceable complete actuator.

Applications

• Hyundai Santa Fe - 2012-2018
• Hyundai Grand Santa Fe - 2013-2016
• Hyundai ix45 - 2013-2016
• Hyundai Maxcruz - 2013-2015
• Kia Sorento

EPB Gear Symptoms to Investigate

• Parking brake will not engage or release.
• Cracking, clicking or slipping inside the actuator.
• Motor runs but the brake mechanism does not move.
• EPB warning on the dashboard.
• Intermittent parking brake operation.
• Wear, chips or damage on original gear teeth.
• Actuator jammed by gearbox failure.

Contents and Reference Roles

Supplied: 3 metal gears. The motor and actuator housing are not included. 597002W800 identifies the complete EPB actuator; RS-555VD-6513 is the motor marking. Other reference forms are retained below.

Inspection and Repair Limits

Disassemble and compare original gear shape, count and arrangement with the product photos. Check the motor, shafts, bushings, housing, electronic board and cable tensioning mechanism. A gear kit will not fix a fault elsewhere. Kia Sorento fitment must be checked by actuator 597002W800 and gearbox construction.

Important Before Ordering

Compare the original part number, marking, shape and mounting design before ordering. A model name alone does not confirm the required version.
