EGR valve failure and intake carbon buildup are among the most common and expensive issues on VAG 1.4, 1.6, and 2.0 TDI Common Rail diesel engines. The OEM EGR valve recirculates hot, sooty exhaust gases back into the intake — over time coating the intake manifold, swirl flaps, and throttle body with thick carbon deposits that reduce airflow and power.
This stainless steel delete pipe replaces the EGR valve entirely with a solid, maintenance-free tube. Bolt-on installation using the original mounts and hoses — no modifications needed.
