This stainless steel kit allows removal of the EGR valve and the extension pipe running from the EGR cooler around the front of the engine on the listed diesel applications.

- Ford Mondeo 2.0 / 2.2 TDCi, Euro 3, with EGR at the front of the engine.
- Jaguar X-Type 2.0 / 2.2 d, Euro 3, with EGR at the front of the engine.
Version Restrictions
Diesel only; not for petrol engines or DPF models. Some vehicles use an EU4 EGR valve: check the installed version. If the EGR valve has an electrical connector, electronic EGR deactivation is also required.
When to Inspect the System
- Reduced engine power.
- EGR or intake manifold faults.
- Black exhaust smoke.
- Unstable idle.
- Intake air leaks.
- Carbon build-up or sticking flaps.
Inspect the intake and EGR system to establish the cause. Symptoms alone do not confirm the required repair.

Material and Mounting
The kit is stainless steel. Threaded flange holes allow reuse of the existing bolts; additional bolts are supplied for the EGR cooler blanking plate. Inspect the original extension pipe for splits or failure that may affect boost and engine operation.
