The EGR system is installed on BMW cars in order to reduce the amount of harmful gas emissions. It works by partially returning these substances to the intake manifold. However, due to the fact that the exhaust gases enter the cylinders back, the engine begins to become covered with soot, parts and mechanisms wear out faster, subsequently destroying the engine system.

Removing the recirculation system will not only reduce the amount of harmful gases emitted, but also increase the performance of the motor, thereby extending its life. In addition, this will reduce fuel consumption by approximately 1-2 liters.

Stages of dismantling the USR system:

• First, remove the heat exchanger.
• We block the exhaust channel in the manifold.
• Then we mount the plugs in the holes.
• We install a diffuser in place of the EGR valve.

Corresponding part numbers:

• BMW - 11717804382, 11717793484, 11717804352 (note that there is a throttle valve in front of the valve).
• Pierburg - 70045000, 70045002, 70045002, 70045009
