EGR Cooler and Swirl Flap Delete Kit - BMW N47 / N47S

This kit provides blanking components for removal of the EGR system and cooler on the listed BMW N47/N47S applications. It also includes a plug for the swirl flap shaft opening.

No. The coolant-opening seals are silicone; this does not identify the material of every kit component.

Cooler Removal and Blanking

After removing the EGR cooler, close the exhaust-manifold opening, the two coolant-circulation openings in the cylinder head and the exhaust-gas opening in the cylinder head with the corresponding kit components. Seat the silicone-sealed coolant plugs and install the retaining bracket to hold the plugs and close the exhaust passage.
