BMW DISA Actuator, Large Flap, N51 / N52 / N53 - 11617560537

Large-Flap Version

The actuator references 11617560537, 11617579114 and 11617522929 identify the large-flap version. Do not select it as the small-flap actuator simply because the engine family or vehicle model matches.

When to Inspect DISA

• Rattling or knocking from the DISA flap.
• Hesitation or loss of response during acceleration.
• Uneven idle.
• Mixture or intake-related faults.
• Unmetered air entering the intake manifold.
• A damaged DISA shaft or diaphragm.
