Restore Your Cayenne Turbo's Crankcase Ventilation — OEM Replacement Hose (Pair to 94810724553).
This is the second hose in the crankcase ventilation system on the Porsche Cayenne 4.8L M48.01 Turbo and Turbo S engine. It pairs with hose 94810724553 — both should be replaced together when servicing the PCV system.
A cracked or deteriorated PCV hose on the M48.01 causes oil mist leaks, rough idle, crankcase pressure faults, and can allow crankcase gases to contaminate the intake manifold and turbocharger.
Why Replace the PCV Hose
- Stops Oil Mist Leaks: Cracked hoses allow pressurized crankcase gases and oil mist to escape — dirtying the engine bay and nearby sensors.
- Prevents Turbo Contamination: On a turbocharged engine, oil mist entering the intake can foul the turbo compressor and intercooler.
- Fixes Idle and Fault Codes: Vacuum leaks from a split PCV hose cause idle instability and crankcase ventilation codes.
- OEM Spec: Direct replacement for Porsche OEM 94810724702.
Note: This is Hose #2 (OEM 94810724702). The complete PCV hose set for the Cayenne 4.8L Turbo requires both this hose and Hose #1 (OEM 94810724553) — available separately in our store. Replace both at the same time to avoid a second disassembly.
