BMW manufacturers install an EGR system in vehicles to recirculate harmful gases, but it adversely affects engine performance by sending toxic substances back into the cylinders. As a result, the power of the car is significantly reduced, wear occurs faster, and fuel consumption increases.

Most often this happens upon reaching approximately 50 thousand kilometers. The USR system becomes dirty and loses its properties, its efficiency decreases. And as a result, the operation of the motor is disrupted, which also becomes unusable over time.

To correct this malfunction or even prevent it, it is recommended to remove the structure and install swirl flap plugs, which you can purchase in our online store at a low price.

To mount the plugs, you do not have to contact the specialists at the service station. You can make repairs yourself by following a simple algorithm:

• Remove the manifold valve and, if necessary, the inlet part (for cleaning from soot and other contaminants).
• Replace the seal with a new plug.
• Mount the valve back, while the gasket of this part must ideally fit this plug.
• To avoid an error after removing the USR, it is necessary to correct the ECU firmware.

After doing all the steps, the engine will increase significantly, and fuel consumption will decrease by 1-2 liters.
