The repair kit is compatible with the turbocharger: 11657583904, 11657636423, 11657636426, 11657583909

The manufacturer offers replacement of BMW N55 turbochargers as a whole, but we offer an alternative solution - replacement of the Wastegate repair kit for BMW N55. Installation on the N55 engine requires removing the turbines, which is a complex and labor-intensive process. To perform this work, you must:

1. Remove the turbochargers from the engine (it is more convenient to do this together with the engine, but with experience, it is possible to remove without dismantling the engine from the body). Check for play in the N55 turbochargers and the condition of the catalytic converters.
2. Unscrew the Wastegate vacuum regulators on the BMW N55.
3. Use a grinder to remove the old BMW N55 valve, having previously marked its position relative to the turbine.
4. Important! Installing a new valve is impossible without argon-arc welding. Install the new valve in the previously marked position and weld the lever to the rod.
5. Screw on the vacuum regulator (it is recommended to replace worn vacuum lines and clean or replace the N55 electromagnetic pressure converters).
6. When installing, use new oil supply hoses, cooling system hoses, as well as all seals and gaskets.
