Replacement Procedure

1. Move the thigh support out manually. Remove the two mounting bolts with a Т-30 (T-30) bit.
2. Disconnect the seat-heating connector and remove the soft cover. Lift the clipped plastic plate upwards and forwards.
3. Remove the six bolts beneath the plate with a Т-25 (T-25) tool.
4. Release the plastic catches to gain access to the mechanism.
5. Remove the servo drive.
6. Open the gear mechanism, which sits perpendicular to the main axis and is secured with hex-head fasteners.
7. Remove the plastic servo gear and replace it with the aluminium gear.
8. Lubricate the moving parts and reassemble the mechanism in reverse order.
