FAQ
Seat uses many VAG engine platforms, so PCV components often share part numbers and architecture with Volkswagen, Audi, and Skoda models. That is why the category contains many cross-brand listings. Still, fitment must be confirmed by engine code and OEM reference. VAG commonality helps, but it is not a license to treat every diaphragm as interchangeable.
Klifex’s Seat page lists valve cover leaks around the PCV housing, rough idle from a sticking diaphragm, oil residue in the intake tract, whistling suction noises from cracked hoses, and boost or vacuum imbalance in turbo models. These symptoms usually mean the PCV system needs diagnosis before more expensive engine or turbo assumptions enter the room.
Start with the engine family and OEM number, then identify the exact component: valve cover membrane, oil separator membrane, intake manifold diaphragm, or PCV valve repair kit. Seat models can use very different PCV layouts across MPI, FSI, TSI, and TDI engines. The product may be small, but the fitment logic is not. Verify first, buy second.
They allow targeted repair of common VAG ventilation failures without replacing complete valve covers, manifolds, or breather modules when only the membrane or separator has failed. A correct kit can restore crankcase pressure, reduce oil leaks, improve idle stability, and protect turbo components. It is a small part category with a large impact on repair quality.
